Fifth Mid-Hudson Valley Undergraduate Conference

On November 14th and 15th the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies hosted the Fifth Mid-Hudson Valley Undergraduate Philosophy Conference. The conference included original philosophical research by undergraduates from Fordham University, Marist College, MIT, United States Military Academy at West Point, and West Virginia University. Students from Bard, Marist, SUNY New Paltz, and Vassar provided commentary. 

Joshua Knobe (Yale University) gave the keynote address before approximately 160 students on Friday evening. The title of his talk was "Understanding the True Self." 

This conference was organized by Dr. Andrei Buckareff with the assistance of Dr. James G. Snyder.
