Marist Army ROTC in NY: At a Glance
What is ROTC?
The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is the largest program in the military responsible for commissioning new officers. With almost 275 programs across the United States, ROTC produces 60% of the second lieutenants in the Army.
ROTC is an incredible way for college students to learn discipline, time management, leadership skills, physical fitness, and much more! The program develops college students into the country's next leaders through a range of activities and courses that teach students how to balance different aspects of their lives.
The Marist ROTC program has been commissioning officers into the Army since 2006. After graduation, Cadets can go on to serve entire careers in the military, or translate their military leadership abilities into civilian occupations after their service obligation.
To learn more about the overall ROTC program, visit the US Army Cadet Command’s website.

Marist Army ROTC
Marist Army ROTC is an extension of Fordham University ROTC. Here at Marist, we run our own Military Science courses and Leadership Labs at St. Ann's and conduct Physical Training at throughout the campus and on local running trails. Cadets can expect to receive instruction from a wide range of experienced cadre to include both NCOs and Officers. Additionally, cadets will become part of the "Charlie Company Family" and will develop lifetime relationships with fellow cadets and students!
