For over four decades, SAF has served as a vital incubator for groundbreaking new works that have gone on to win Pulitzer, Tony, Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, and Obie Awards. This summer, audiences will once again have the unique opportunity to be the first to experience the next wave of transformative storytelling. They’ll witness these stories in their earliest stages—before they reach Broadway, major resident and international theaters, movie screens, or television.
SAF also welcomes a vibrant community of artists-in-residence, including Ngozi Anyanwu, Rebecca Gilman, and many more, alongside organizations such as Indigenous Voices of the Northeast and The Drama League.
In partnership with Marist University, SAF continues to foster creative exchange between professional artists and academic communities, with collaborations across the Fashion, English, and Music departments.
