Bio
Educational Background:
BA, Psychology, Marist College ‘22
What were you involved with on campus as a student?
I was a member of the Marist College Dance Ensemble throughout my entire time at Marist, as a dancer in a variety of different styles of dance classes, as well as a choreographer for hip-hop classes.
Favorite spot on campus?
I really enjoyed spending time in any of the academic building's lobbies. Depending on where my classes were for the day, I would grab a coffee and settle into a comfortable chair in a central area and zone in on whatever I was working on. I felt that I was at my best academically in that element.
Favorite Marist tradition?
I love that the Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony is always held on the Campus Green. It really brings a sense of closure and feeling of celebration to end your journey in the same place you began it.
Favorite Marist memory?
The feeling of pure pride and passion that I would always get immediately following the semesterly Dance Ensemble Showcase. My friends and I dedicated so much of ourselves to the club and seeing everyone’s vision come to life was truly an unbelievable experience that we got to keep living semester after semester.
Best advice for the college search:
The best you can do is take your time and really research the schools that you are interested in so that you can make a well-informed decision that best follows your heart and future aspirations.
Why did you choose Marist?
I chose Marist because of the way that the campus made me feel: inspired, proud, self-reflective, and excited for the future. There is a seemingly endless amount of opportunities here and there is truly a place for everyone. The campus still gives me the same feelings now!
What makes Marist special to you?
Every minute I spend here, I’m evolving - first as a student, and now as a professional staff member. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a community that has the ability to continue growing with you.
