Bio
Educational Background:
B.A., Sociology and Spanish, St. Norbert College 2014
M.Ed., Educational Policy and Leadership, Marquette University 2016
What were you involved with on campus as a student?
I was involved on the dance team, worked as a tour guide in the admissions office, served as a first-year experience mentor for first-year students, and was the participant experience coordinator for our alternative break service program. I also studied abroad in Toledo, Spain and absolutely loved every second of it.
Favorite college tradition:
Although I did not attend Marist as an undergraduate student, I feel honored to be able to experience Marist traditions as a professional. I look forward to participating in Freshman Move-In, Athletic Games, the Giving Tree Ceremony and many more!
Favorite college memory:
My favorite Marist memory was seeing all the excitement for the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Dyson Center. The views are unreal from the new building.
Best advice for the college search:
The college search process is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. You’re not going to have all the answers when you first start the process. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. It’s our job to be a resource for you and your family as you begin navigating the process. At the end of the day, we want to make sure you have all the information you need to make a college decision. We want nothing but the best for you! Remember to take a deep breath and tell yourself “I got this!” Just be you!
Why did you choose to work for Marist:
The first time I stepped foot on campus, I knew this was where I wanted to work. The campus was beautiful. The students were active and involved inside and outside of the classroom. The faculty and staff cheered for one another. I love that Marist provides outstanding opportunities for students, faculty and staff to grow professionally and personally.
What makes Marist special to you:
This community is contagious. I feel lucky to be a part of a community that supports one another and embraces individuals for who they are.
