Antivirus Software

CrowdStrike Falcon is provided by Marist College to all students, faculty, and staff free of charge.

Marist requires that students have up-to-date endpoint protection software installed on their computer and has purchased licenses for all students to use CrowdStrike. Once installed, it will keep itself up-to-date automatically. This ensures that each machine has the latest protection against viruses, malware, ransomware, and other threats. You are eligible to use CrowdStrike as long as you are enrolled or work at Marist College, and you will never have to pay to keep it up-to-date while you attend or are employed by Marist College.

Before installing CrowdStrike, please make sure that you have removed any other antivirus software from your system. Installers and installation guides can be downloaded after signing into myMarist at https://my.marist.edu/antivirus-software, and removal instructions for our former antivirus system, Trellix, can be found on our How-Tos page.

Please note that the myMarist download link above is not accessible to incoming students until August.
