Marist Online MBA Program Ranked Best in Northeast by Fortune Education

October 11, 2021—Fortune Education recently named Marist's fully online MBA program as one of the Best Regional Online MBA Programs in the Northeast.

“Our MBA program offers Marist’s students the ability to earn their degree virtually and we’re honored to be recognized as one of the best online programs in the Northeast,” Dr. James Snyder, Interim Dean of Marist’s School of Management, said. “The MBA program welcomes all working professionals from various industries the opportunity to advance their professional path with a customizable degree.”

Fortune Education takes into account a multitude of factors in ranking online MBA programs. Factors that are considered include the Program Score, Fortune 1000 Score, Brand Score, and Prestige Score. The Program Score, which is derived from a 29 question form, is used to provide program data such as average GPA, retention rate, and more. The Fortune 1000 Score identifies MBA graduates that have achieved the level of c-suite status, the more an institution has the higher its score is for that category. Brand and Prestige Scores consider how hiring managers and outside individuals perceive an institution. Marist was prominently recognized in the Best Online MBA Programs in the Northeast category, as well as in the New York State Online MBA Programs category.

Fortune Education created their online MBA rankings to best inform consumers of programs and schools as a response to the ever-changing digital education landscape. “There’s an urgent need for degree programs that level up workers’ skills, ready to take on the shifting demands of corporate America. Designed to be your guide in navigating the changing world of education, our team of experienced editors rank, rate, and recommend the right solutions for you and your career,” as stated on Fortune Education’s homepage.

Launched in 1998, Marist’s program was New York State’s first AACSB-accredited, fully online MBA program—and one of the first such programs in the nation. The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) is the premier business school accrediting body, and it accredits less than five percent of business programs worldwide.

Marist’s Online MBA program offers students five different start times and three concentrations, including:
