Marjorie Gulenyan, LCSW
(She/her/ella)
Clinical Counselor
Bio
Marjorie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her degree from Lehman College. She was born and raised in New York City and moved to the Hudson Valley in 2021. Marjorie has worked as a School-based Intervention Counselor throughout New York City and Dutchess County K-12 schools. The focus of her work has been helping individuals and their families cope with and seek treatment for mental health concerns, substance misuse, and difficult life transitions.
As a Latina woman from NYC, she has had extensive experience working with individuals from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Marjorie is also fluent in Spanish, which she has used to help advocate for families encountering a language barrier. She uses person-centered ecological perspective when working with her clients since there are often challenges outside of the individual that can affect their mental health.
During her free time, Marjorie can be found painting, building Legos, and spending time with her family. She enjoys any D.I.Y. Project she can find and traveling anywhere she is able to.
