"Infinity" Exhibition Features Work by Marist Seniors (4/19-5/5)
April 17, 2018 — A new exhibition will be on view at the Marist College Art Gallery, April 19-May 5. "Infinity" is a show featuring work by student artists in the Beyond Area 51 artist group. An opening reception will be held in the gallery on Thursday, April 19, 5:00-7:00pm. All events are free and open to the public.
"Infinity" includes works in a range of mediums, including drawings, paintings, digital designs (including projections), videos, and prints. The show explores a variety of techniques: contrast, negative space, and color.
Artists in the show include Sarah Booth, Alon Cameron, Alyssa Casamento, Freddie DeVivo, Paige Freeman, Shanté Grossett, Alyssa Hogancamp, Dominique Kuentzel, Danny Lauro, Sam Lauro, Brianne Linden, Daniel Miller, Kaylee Neff, Roxanne Novo, Krista Seitz, Robyn Silverstein, Lindsey Tortora, and Samantha Ziminski—all members of Marist’s class of 2018.
The Marist Art Gallery is located at 51 Fulton Street and is open Monday-Sunday, 12:00-5:00pm. Admission is free. The gallery showcases work by both Marist and external artists and features numerous exhibitions throughout the academic year. For additional information call (845) 575-3182.
