Four Alumni Honored for Outstanding Achievements & Service
November 6, 2023 - Homecoming & Reunion Weekend brings alumni home to reconnect with fellow Red Foxes over sports, music, food, and festivities. Kicking off alumni weekend activities was a special Homecoming Welcome Reception and the 10th Annual Alumni Awards Presentation.
The College proudly recognized and celebrated four extraordinary alumni with the 2023 Alumni Association Awards. Dedication, hard work, and a passion for giving back were all shared characteristics amongst this year’s award recipients. While each of their stories is uniquely inspiring, they collectively embody the Marist values of service and community.

This career and service award is presented to two alumni who have reached a significant level of achievement in their professions and who serve as models of the quality and caliber expected of today's Marist students.

Dr. Linus Richard Foy '50 Outstanding Alumni Award
This award recognizes distinguished service by an alumnus or alumna to a profession, to the College, to the nation, or to humanity. The criterion for this award is a continuous record of distinguished service in a chosen field or endeavor that is related to the objectives and purposes of Marist.

Dr. Dennis J. Murray Distinguished Service Award
This award is presented to an alumnus or alumna who has diligently and faithfully served the Marist Alumni Association for an extended period of time. Service can take the form of a regional chapter position or any involvement that advances the mission of Marist through dedicated volunteer efforts.
