Eligibility
Who is Eligible to Participate?
- Students who attend or will attend the following schools : Poughkeepsie High School and Newburgh Free Academy (all campuses). 8th grade students who will attend one of these schools may apply during 8th grade, but will not be considered for acceptance until they have successfully completed 8th grade requirements.
- Students whose family income meets U.S. Department of Education guidelines and/or
- Students whose parents have not received a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the United States.
- Candidates who are interested in entering a post-secondary educational program after completing high school.
- Candidates must be willing to make a commitment to remain active with the program through college graduation.
- Candidates must have academic needs and college potential.
