About Our Club

Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements of students with disabilities and fosters a supportive, inclusive environment. Our mission is to empower students through leadership opportunities, academic support, and advocacy for disability awareness. We welcome students committed to promoting inclusivity and social change. Whether you're seeking leadership or a way to make a difference, DAPi is the place to connect, grow, and create a more accessible world.

Executive Board Members:

President: Jillian Vicari

  • Key tasks include overseeing society goals, leading meetings, and managing chapter responsibilities, as well as scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and ensuring task completion.

Vice President: Lilianna Daly

  • Key tasks include managing leadership duties in the President’s absence, event planning, member engagement, and handling BrightSpace and room reservations.

Secretary: Caitlyn Healy

  • Key tasks include managing documentation, correspondence, attendance, and event evaluation, along with handling the swipe system and Microsoft Forms.

Treasurer: Matis Iacovitti

  • Key tasks include managing finances, fundraising events, budget allocation, and financial forms.

Head of Public Relations: Marin Rosman

  • Key tasks include communication strategies, social media management, and event promotion.

Historian: Sophia Lescinskas

  • Key tasks include documenting events, maintaining records, and preserving the club's history.

Community Manager: Sarah Weitzenfeld

  • Key tasks include engaging with the community, responding to feedback, and analyzing engagement metrics.

Meeting Times

DAPi typically holds 3-4 meetings per month. Meeting times, dates, and locations are posted on our social media, and members are also kept up to date through email.

Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities

To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.

To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.

To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
