Commuter Students

Welcome, Commuter Students!

Marist recognizes that commuter students play an active and integral role in the Red Fox community. In their first year, commuters are provided opportunities to engage with Marist as a whole and are introduced to key resources and traditions that support their success. This support continues through Commencement, encouraging commuter students to remain involved as they transition into upperclassmen.

Get Involved and Stay Connected

Commuter students have plenty of ways to engage with campus life, from regular gatherings to special events. Whether it’s meeting mentors, joining discussions at Pizza Tables, or attending one-time programs, there’s always something happening. Plus, commuters have a space to call their own—the Commons Lounge, a comfortable spot in the Student Center to relax, study, and connect.
