About Our Organization
The Marist Men’s Rugby Club has approximately 35 active team members, and each of our student-athletes is a part of our Red Fox family. All of our team members truly enjoy playing rugby and competing for our team. The culture of the team is a point of pride, and our team supports one another both on and off the field. Our team welcomes players of all abilities and is willing to teach first-time players the rules during training sessions. Marist men's rugby is able to teach the sport through a combination of experienced players and our coach, who has been playing rugby for more than 15 years. We encourage anyone who is interested to join the Marist Rugby family.
Off the field, our team annually participates and donates to the Special Olympics through the Fishkill Polar Plunge.

Meeting Times
The team generally meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Practice usually entails 30 minutes of stretching and fitness, followed by 60-90 minutes of rugby drills, offensive and defense formations and plays, and contested scrimmaging.
Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities
To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.
To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.
To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
