Co-Curricular Club
About Our Organization
Red Ink Club is a space for all Marist students to express their creativity! We host activities that include painting, drawing, and crafting. We work with many mediums and help to bring out the creative side in all students who attend. Anyone can join us no matter what major or year, we appreciate work from all sources on campus. This club allows students to create at their own place in a safe a welcoming environment. We strive to give all members a time to be mindful during their busy schedules and unwind to create works of art.
Club Leadership
President: Samantha Vaught, ‘23
- The president represents the club and conducts meetings. They keep track of inventory, determine the allocation for each semester, and conduct event evaluations.
Vice President: Jo Anna Valdez, ‘23
- The vice president conducts meetings and assists the president with various tasks such as room reservations and obtaining the supplies for each meeting.
Treasurer: Ally Jimenez, ‘23
- The treasurer fills out check requests and keeps track of the money used per meeting.
Secretary: Gabriella Lentile, ‘22
- The secretary writes out all emails to members and records the priority points of each person who attend meetings.
Social Media Coordinator: Victoria Amador, ‘23
- The social media coordinator keeps all social media accounts up to date with pictures from each meeting/event.
Meeting Times
Red Ink usually meets once a month on the weekends during the day. Dates, times, and locations can be found on our Instagram account or the emails sent out before each meeting!
Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities
To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.
To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.
To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
