Aetna’s EAP Resources & Webinars

Aetna Resources for Living is Marist’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Provider. Employees can access myriad tools on the Resources for Living website, from managing stress and staying healthy, to dealing with grief and chatting with a counselor.

Aetna’s EAP also offers free weekly webinars on various topics, such as implementing a good support system, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and breathing exercises for relaxation. Recorded webinars are accessible in their webinar library.

Mental Health Resources

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides cost-free professional consultation and referral services for Marist staff and faculty who are experiencing work and personal-related difficulties. You do not need to be an Aetna health plan member to use this service. Services are available to members of the employee’s household, too. You may contact Aetna’s Employee Assistance Program at 1 (888) 238-6232 or visit the Resources for Living website.

Dial 988 for immediate mental health support. 988 is available if you’re having thoughts of suicide, feeling emotional distress, or struggling with substance misuse. 988 is also available if you have concerns about someone else and need guidance, help, or support.

Financial Wellness via CAPTRUST

To help employees build a solid financial future, CAPTRUST offers one-on-one counseling sessions throughout the year.

CAPTRUST Financial Advisors, an independent financial advisory firm, provides Marist employees with expert third-party professional advice to help plan their retirement. These one-on-one sessions are offered solely as a benefit; be assured that CAPTRUST's role is not to sell you anything, but purely to help you make sound investment decisions. Schedule an appointment online, or call (800) 967-9948.

TIAA Financial Wellness Resources & Webinars

TIAA has gathered advice and education in one place, so employees can get answers to their important financial questions and secure their financial future. There, employees can also access articles, live information sessions, and webinars that cover topics such as the economic market, financial wisdom, and more.
