Mark Avagliano '98
Chief Business Officer, G1 Therapeutics
Mark Avagliano is the Chief Business Officer for G1 Therapeutics based in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. G1 is a biotech company which has three new cancer drugs under development. Previously, Avagliano was Vice President of Corporate Development at Pfizer. Before that, he was with Aventis Pharmaceuticals. He has over 18 years pharmaceuticals industry experience. Avagliano is also a Board member of Charley’s Fund, a non-profit organization focused on supporting and accelerating research and development for new treatments for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). He holds a master’s degree in finance and accounting from the London School of Economics, a master’s degree in Comparative Social Policy form Oxford University, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Political Science from Marist College.
Michael Babic '04
Head of FICC Execution Services, Americas at Goldman Sachs
Michael Babic is the Head of FICC Execution Services, Americas at Goldman Sachs. He spent the first years of his career in prime brokerage at Deutsche Bank before moving into electronic sales in 2007, joining FX Marketspace as a sales associate. In 2009, Michael moved to Citibank where he spent the next five years on the electronic sales team, building out their distribution business focusing primarily on their proprietary trading platform and FX algorithms. Michael joined Goldman Sachs in 2014 to lead their electronic foreign exchange effort for the Americas. In 2019, Michael built out the FICC Execution Services business, focusing on electronic distribution in Commodities, Credit, Interest Rates and FX.
Christopher M. Capone '84
Executive Vice President/CFO, CH Energy Group
Christopher Capone has been the Chief Financial Officer of CH Energy Group since September 2003, Executive Vice President since December 2006. He has been President of Central Hudson Enterprises Corporation since September 2010. He has been the Chief Financial Officer of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation since September 2003 and serves as its Executive Vice President and also served as its Treasurer since June 2001. He served as an Assistant Treasurer of Investor Relations at Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. and CHEC from March 2000 to June 2001. He served as Vice President and Division Head of Personal Fixed Income Division of Bank of New York since December 1998 and Managing Director of Furman Selz / ING since March 2002. He has been a Director of Central Hudson Enterprises Corporation since September 2010. He served as a Director of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. since March 2005. He serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Dutchess County and the Board of Counselors of the Children's Home of Poughkeepsie. He holds a Chartered Financial Analyst certification. He earned a Bachelor's of Science degree with honors from Marist in 1984 and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Columbia University in 1999.
Thomas D. Cassin '81
Managing Director & Co-Head Investment Grade Finance, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
Thomas Cassin currently serves as a managing director and head of the high-grade loan capital markets and origination business at JPMorgan Chase in New York City. He has been with the firm and its predecessor, Chase Manhattan Bank, since graduating from Marist in 1981. Mr. Cassin began his career working for the general auditing division and rose through the ranks. Over the years, his positions included an assignment in the global credit audit group, where he traveled extensively throughout Europe, Latin America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Mr. Cassin holds a BS in Finance and Economics from Marist, and earned an MBA in Financial Economics from Pace University.
Nick Citera '87
President, Cosimo's Restaurant Group
Nick Citera currently serves as President of Cosimo's Restaurant Group. He also serves on the Boards of the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley, Greater Newburgh Partnership, Hudson Valley Restaurant Week, and the St. Luke's/Cornwall Hospital Board of Trustees. Nick has also been instrumental in the revitalization of the City of Newburgh by opening Torches on the Hudson in 2001, The Pizza Shop in 2013, and by supporting local businesses. Throughout Orange and Dutchess Counties, the Cosimo's Restaurant Group employs over 500 people.
Paul F. Curran '84 P'16
Founder & Managing Director, BQ Energy
Paul Curran is the founder and managing director of BQ Energy, a renewable energy development firm that specializes in building wind and solar projects on landfills and brownfield sites. In March of 2014, BQ Energy was chosen to develop a site in Buffalo, New York, under the NY-Sun Competitive photovoltaic project sponsored by NYSERDA and the New York Power Authority. Mr. Curran has worked in the energy industry for over 20 years and has held executive level positions at SunEdison, Texaco, and Chevron. He earned his MBA from Marist and his BS in engineering from Columbia University.
James E. Daly '72
Vice President, Investments, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc.
Jim Daly currently serves as a vice president of investments at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc., a financial services firm with offices in Poughkeepsie. Stifel, Nicolaus is a subsidiary of Stifel Financial Corp., which provides asset management, financial advice, and banking services for private clients. The company also offers brokerage, mergers, and acquisitions advisory services for corporate clients, underwrites debt and equity, and provides corporate research. It operates in over 300 locations across the US. Prior to starting his career in finance, Mr. Daly served as the dean of admission at Marist. He earned a BA in Political Science from Marist in 1972.
Gregory J. Garville '74
Founder and President of Garville Corp.
Greg is a private equity professional with over 30 years of principal investment experience in both privately held and publicly traded companies. He has completed over 50 equity, debt, and M&A transactions primarily with middle market companies and has extensive experience managing portfolio companies and turnaround situations. Prior to starting Garville Corp. in 2015, Greg served for 16 years as President of Union Capital Corporation, a Private Equity firm specializing in investing in middle market companies. He was also President of Mickelberry Communications Inc. and held executive positions with Praxair Inc.
Greg is a Senior Executive Advisor with Brookside Equity Partners LLC. He and his wife Christine (’74) are involved in several initiatives which strive to reduce poverty and promote advanced education among the less fortunate.
Ritchie L. Gomez '91
Sr. Vice President, International Wealth Advisor, Portfolio Manager at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management
Ritchie Gomez joined Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in 1997, after eight years at Citicorp working in various capacities in both the domestic and international bank. In 1999, he partnered with Edward Abitanta and Jorge Sonville to form the New York International Group (NYIG). Currently, Ritchie leads the NYIG’s team of twelve professionals based in their New York and Miami offices. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Marist College and holds the Series 7, 63, 65 FINRA registrations as well as insurance licenses. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.

Director Investor Relations, IBM
Casey Heller is the Director of Investor Relations at IBM. Prior to her executive role in Investor Relations, Ms. Heller had more than a decade of experience in corporate finance. She held leadership positions in various functions, including financial planning and analysis and treasury. She is passionate about building organizational capability and enhancing employee engagement, with an emphasis on the advancement of women. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Marist College in 2009.
Kevin Hogan '02
Executive Director, Evercore
Kevin Hogan '02 is a managing director overseeing middle market sales at Evercore, an investment banking advisory firm. Evercore has advised on over $2 trillion in transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and private placements, and has about $8 billion in assets under management for institutions and high net worth individuals. Evercore has offices throughout America, Europe, South America, and Asia. Kevin joined Evercore in 2011. He previously worked in sales for Marsh & McLennan. Kevin earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Marist in 2002. He was active in student government as an undergraduate.
Tim Keneally '69
President, KapStone Container Company
Timothy Keneally was appointed President of KapStone Container Corporation in July 2013. Mr. Keneally served as Vice President and General Manager of the Company and President of the Company's Kraft Papers Business since its acquisition from International Paper Company ("IP") in January 2007. Previously, Mr. Keneally served as Vice President of Industrial Packaging of IP from 2000 to December 2006 and led the IP team that assessed the review of strategic alternatives relating to the Kraft Paper and Container business. He was the lead person in presenting the historical performance of the business and assisted in defining the future strategy for the business, and was the lead operating person during the Charleston Kraft Division acquisition and the U.S. Corrugated acquisition. Mr. Keneally has 40 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry. Mr. Keneally earned a B.A. degree in History from Marist.
Michael Marchesano '78
Managing Director, ABM/CISD SIIA
Michael Marchesano is the managing director of ABM and CISD. Previously, Marchesano was president and CEO of Aequor Media, a consulting firm dedicated to providing strategic, customized technology solutions for b-to-b and consumer magazines, newspapers, and Fortune 1000 companies. Marchesano was also managing director at the Jordan Edmiston Group, an investment banking firm, where he led the sale of Congressional Quarterly to the Economist Group. Before that, he was executive vice president & chief transformation officer at The Nielsen Company; president and CEO at VNU Business Media; president and CEO at Bill Communications (an operating company of VNU), and president at BPA International (now BPA Worldwide). Marchesano was an ABM board member from 2001-07, serving as chairman in 2006-07, and a SIIA Content Division board member from 2007-11.
Michael J. Medley '90
Partner, National Leader, ITqS International Tax Services, Ernst & Young, LLP
Michael Medley is a partner in the national tax practice of Ernst & Young. Mr. Medley joined the company in 2013 from Deloitte Tax LLP, where he was a partner in its international tax quantitative consulting services practice. He focuses on international tax attribute studies using established processes and efficient use of technology. He had been with Deloitte since 1999. Mr. Medley earned a degree in Business Administration from Marist. After graduation, he earned an MBA from Seton Hall.
Robert Meindl '92
Vice President, Global Sales Leader, Commercial Markets, Lockheed Martin
Robert 'Bob' Meindl currently serves as global head of sales at Lockheed Martin. He was appointed to the position in January 2015. Prior to joining Lockheed, Mr. Meindl served as chief operating officer of Revelytix, a Sparks-based software development company. Revelytix was acquired in July 2014 by the Teradata Corporation, a publicly traded, $2.7B software and data warehousing company. Previously, Mr. Meindl held executive positions at Vitria Technology and BEA Systems, Inc.. He began his career at Reuters America and subsequently worked at Bridge Information Systems and with Giga Information Group, Inc. Mr. Meindl graduated from Marist in 1992 with a degree in communication.
Frank Minerva '76
Managing Director, UBS Wealth Management, UBS AG
Frank Minerva was named Complex Director for Fairfield County Connecticut in May of 2013. He had previously served as Chief Operating Officer for the Private Wealth Management Group since March 2010. Frank was instrumental in opening the first UBS Private Wealth Management office serving ultra high net worth clients in the United States in 2006, which included both Private Wealth Advisors and Private Bankers. Frank also opened the second Private Wealth Management Office in Stamford, CT in 2007. Frank is a 25-year veteran of UBS and has held various positions in the firm during this tenure, including managing the firm's Madison Avenue, NY office, Divisional Sales Manager, Equity Product Manager, and Director of both International Equities as well as Equity Syndicate. Prior to UBS, Frank held positions in the Investment Bank at Shearson Lehman Brothers and the Private Client Group at EF Hutton. Frank is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research, and a Certified Financial Planner. Frank received his MBA from the University of Connecticut and his BA from Marist.
Alyssa Moeder '89
Managing Director and Private Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch Private Wealth Management; Principal at Moeder, Salvino & Associates
Alyssa Moeder earned a BS in Accounting from Marist in 1989. She is currently a private wealth advisor and principal of Moeder Salvino & Associates, part of Merrill Lynch’s Private Banking & Investment Group. Alyssa was previously with KPMG and CitiBank. She founded the Women’s Exchange, a networking and mentoring program for the women at Merrill Lynch. Alyssa also is a member of the board of directors of the Girl Scouts of Greater New York. Alyssa has received Merrill Lynch’s David Brady Award for her exceptional service to clients. This year, she was named to the Crain’s New York Business “Most Notable Women in Finance” listing.
William Moran '63
Executive Vice President/General Auditor, J.P. Morgan Chase (Retired)
Bill, most recently with JP Morgan Chase, has almost 30 years of teaching and program management experience. Bill joined the heritage bank firms of JP Morgan Chase in 1987, in the Banking and International Sector of the Global Bank where he managed and taught in the Management (Credit) Training Program for the sector as well as training programs for correspondent bankers. Bill also marketed and recruited clients for the Management Training Program. He has taught the Sales and Public Speaking courses in the Continuing Education programs both in New York and overseas. Bill is also involved in Series 7 preparation courses on an adjunct basis. He holds a Master's degree in Education.
Thomas Murray '02
Managing Director, Goldman Sachs
Tom Murray was named a managing director at Goldman Sachs in November 2015, and began serving in this position in January 2016. He is presently a chartered financial analyst and holds NASH series 3, 7, and 66 licenses. Mr. Murray previously served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs, overseeing an asset management team of at least 25. While in this position, Mr. Murray lived in London for a period in 2010. Mr. Murray joined Goldman Sachs in February 2007. He previously worked as an associate analyst with Bear Sterns from 2004 to 2007, and as an associate with Morgan Stanley from 2002 to 2004. He is active with New York Cares, serving as a member of its Rising Leaders Council and as co-chair of membership and social engagement.

Stephen holds a BS in Business Administration, Finance from Marist College, is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) through the Center for Fiduciary Studies and Qualified Plan Fiduciary Consultant (QPFC) from American Retirement Association. He is a registered representative holding Series 6, 7, 63 and 65 registrations.

Managing Director and Head of Human Resources at Voya Investment Management
Michael Pratt is the head of human resources for Voya Investment Management. Prior to joining the firm, Michael held roles of increasing responsibility at Legg Mason Global Asset Management and its predecessor firm Citigroup Asset Management. Michael began his career in recruiting at the Forum Group and worked in software sales before joining Citigroup Asset Management. Michael holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Marist College. Michael serves in an advisory role to the Board of Governors of the Money Management Institute (MMI) and the Gateway to Leadership diversity program, a partnership between MMI and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).
Maureen C. Solero, SPHR
Vice President of Organizational and Leadership Development at Nuvance Health
Maureen Solero is a globally recognized talent and leadership executive with 30 years of experience. She has lived and worked in the US, Asia and Europe where she was a CHRO and Talent Officer with global multi-national firms including Broadview International (Jefferies), Deutsche Bank and Novartis Pharmaceuticals. Previously she led Lee Hecht Harrison’s Northeast Region Talent Practice. Maureen is an executive coach and previously founded Transformational Leadership and Coaching, LLC. In her current role as Vice President, Organizational and Leadership Development at Nuvance Health, she is responsible for the firm’s leadership development, culture and engagement strategies, practices and services. Maureen earned her A.A.S. degree from Parsons School of Design, a B.S. degree from City College, and an M.A. degree from New York University.

Paul Stento is a first vice president and senior financial advisor at Merrill Lynch. He is based in the Albany office. As an undergraduate at Marist, Mr. Stento was a founding member of the band and rowed crew.
Kimberly Viggiano ‘02

Kimberly Viggiano is a Portfolio Manager at Gilder Gagnon Howe & Co. LLC (GGHC). She first joined the firm as a summer intern Research Assistant while still in college. After graduating, Kimberly worked as a Research Assistant at Nomura Securities in investment banking until an opportunity presented itself to return to GGHC and pursue her passion in research and money management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Marist College.
Daniel Worrell M'00
Assistant Vice President and Head of Risk and Analysis at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York
Daniel Worrell is the Assistant Vice President and Head of Risk and Analysis for Foreign and Large Banking Organizations at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Before joining the Federal Reserve in 2018, he held positions at the MTA, AIG, Time Warner, Avon, and the NYS State Comptroller. Daniel is a past national treasurer of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). He is past President of the New York State Internal Control Association. He served on the Charles T. Davidson Scholarship Fund board from 2008 until 2018, and is currently a Board Member of the Possibility Project, an organization that empowers teenagers to transform their lives and communities through social and emotional learning. Daniel received his BS from CUNY Medgar Evers College and his MPA from Marist College.
