Middle States asks institutions to shape a self-study process around key priorities and intended outcomes consistent with the institutional mission. Priorities are aligned with the mission, values, and future direction of the institution, aligned with the Middle States Standards and Requirements of Affiliation, and serve as a focus for self-study and improvement. Each Working Group will examine progress toward identified priorities.

Through a comprehensive process that incorporated input from faculty, staff, students, alumni, and other campus constituents, the Steering Committee selected three institutional priorities to guide the self-study process.
