POUGHKEEPSIE — For junior Computer Science major Bryan Keller, a string of successful software development projects has led to his selection to one of the most competitive and prestigious summer internship programs in Silicon Valley.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Marist environmental science Professor Chris Bowser was recently presented with the Hudson River Environmental Society's Outstanding Educator Award. The award recognizes Bowser for his "outstanding achievement in teaching about the natural and human-affected environments in the Hudson River Valley," and for inspiring others to seek a greater understanding of this environmentally significant region.

POUGHKEEPSIE – The Marist College Center for Sports Communication will host a talk by former Major League Baseball player and manager Bobby Valentine. Marist College and BlackRidge Technology today announced a research partnership to develop advanced cybersecurity capabilities that provide an additional layer of protection for enterprises that compute ‘at scale,’ such as the financial sector, exchanges, and private cloud providers. The capability to provide advanced cybersecurity research was developed in the New York State Cloud Computing and Analytics Center at Marist College. The research environment includes the Software Defined Networking (SDN) Interoperability Lab, where BlackRidge will work in collaboration with eight other major network systems providers.
