Marist College is offering a special expanded Spring Commencement season, acknowledging the Classes of 2022 and 2020 on consecutive weekends in May on campus. The Class of 2022 will have full Commencement activities on May 20 and 21, with the Class of 2020 invited back to be honored the following weekend.

Shivani Patel ’22 has been selected as a 2022-2023 Fulbright U.S. student grant recipient, giving her an opportunity to study youth volunteerism within the palliative care sector in India.

With most students enjoying their time off, Julia Kisilinsky ’22 and a group of staff and students spent their spring break in North Carolina, building a house as part of Marist’s Habitat for Humanity club.

Seniors from the Marist College Fashion Program promoted sustainability and environmental awareness in on-campus events to celebrate Earth Day. Sustainability is a core principle of Marist’s Fashion Program and Capstone Seniors highlighted design concepts with that in mind last week.

Marist College Freshmen, studying abroad in Dublin, traveled to London earlier this month to attend the Foundation for International Education’s (FIE) Student Global Leadership Conference (SGLC), an event providing a unique opportunity for students and delegates from across the world to explore how they can become better leaders.

This month, the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce honored some of the Hudson Valley’s up-and-comers, among them was one of Marist College’s very best.
