Ramapo for Children Academic Partnership

Ramapo for Children Academic Partnership logo Ramapo for Children has over 96 years of experience in creating inclusive environments that promote learning, skill development, and positive behavioral change for children and young adults who are affected by social, emotional, or learning challenges, including children on the autism spectrum. Ramapo’s philosophy is grounded in the belief that supportive relationships are critical to the success of children. Ramapo runs direct service programming for youth and young adults and partners with schools and out-of-school time agencies to promote positive behavior, foster social and emotional skill development, and create safe communities marked by belonging and connectedness

Ramapo’s Approach consists of a toolbox of strategies and techniques for adults, conveyed through a distinct coaching model, that support the creation of successful learning environments for young people. This approach can be found throughout all their direct service and training programs and includes role modeling and building relationships to motivate behavioral change; clarifying expectations for behaviors and establishing structures and routines to create organized environments; adapting to the individual needs of young people who struggle to meet community expectations; and creating supportive communities to respond to challenges, reflect on experiences, and repair relationships.

As a way of saying "thank you" to the Ramapo for Children employees and volunteers who reside in our community, Marist is offering special tuition pricing to those individuals as well as their immediate adult family members.
