My earliest memory of Marist is...being a part of the Upward Bound program as a student and staff member during my high school years and falling in love with the beautiful campus and community.
One of my favorite movies is...the Rush Hour movie franchise. It will forever be some of the funniest action-packed movies to me.
My friends would describe me as: understanding, caring, supportive and someone who loves to laugh and makes others happy.
When I think of heroes I think of… everyday people making a positive impact on the lives of other without need of recognition or reward.
If I could travel anywhere…I love learning about my ancestral history and culture, so I would love to take a trip and explore different countries in Africa!
My biggest mentors growing up were… my parents, who supported me in everything I have accomplished and pushed me to always want better for myself. I also give credit to the individuals throughout my life who believed in me no matter what.
One of the best things about college is… the opportunity to grow into the person you’ve always wanted to become and make connections with people who will change your life forever.
When I’m not busy with things at Marist I like to… spend time with family and friends, travel, and try new foods.
My message for the students of Marist is: Believe you are worthy of everything that you want to achieve. You are resilient and have made it to this amazing time in your life. Take advantage of all it has to offer and enjoy the ride!
