Shane Dzimian, LMSW (they/them/theirs)
Clinical Counselor
Bio
Shane is a licensed master social worker serving as a clinical counselor at Marist College. Prior to joining Marist, Shane worked in their home state of Connecticut at an intensive outpatient program serving adolescents with anxiety disorders. Most recently they enjoyed working within a private group practice setting after moving to the Hudson Valley in 2020. As a queer, nonbinary clinician, Shane understands the importance of providing a safe space for visibility, self-exploration, and inclusion. They strive to always understand clients within a greater context regarding systemic oppression, the family system, and one’s current life circumstances. Outside of work, Shane enjoys watching the Great British Bake-Off, spending time with their three cats, gasping at cute dogs that they see and listening to a healthy combination of Taylor Swift and murder podcasts.
