Summer Pre-College Checklist

Number 1

SUBMIT YOUR ENROLLMENT DEPOSIT

Courses in the pre-college program fill quickly and are capped at a max of 25 students and some as low as 16. Follow the directions in your admitted student packet to submit your Enrollment Deposit and secure a seat in the program.

 

Number 2

COMPLETE YOUR REQUIRED HEALTH FORMS

Your health and safety while participating in the pre-college program are a top priority. Marist College has partnered with CampDoc, a widely used and secure platform for students and families to conveniently complete/upload their required information. Pre-College participants will receive an email from CampDoc directly to set up a profile and upload required health forms and documentation; please be sure to check your inbox and/or spam. If you have questions about any required forms and/or documents, please contact the Undergraduate Admission Office at 845-575-3226.

 

Number 3

MARIST ID CARD

To have your ID card ready for you upon your arrival, and to expedite your check-in process, we ask that you submit a formal color photo.  The photo must show a full front view of your head and shoulders with no hat or sunglasses. JPEG photo file format is recommended, and should not exceed 12MB.

Number 4

HOUSING INFORMATION

Pre-College is a residential program and students will reside in air-conditioned suites with other students. While students live together, they will each have their own bedroom. Learn more about housing and items we recommend you bring with you.

Number 5

TRANSPORTATION FOR STUDENTS FROM NYC

For students planning on flying into the New York City area, or for residents of New York City, Marist will be providing shuttle service to and from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). 

  • Session I Shuttles: The shuttle will leave the airport Saturday, June 29, by 4 p.m. and will return students to the airport on Saturday, July 13. In order to allocate enough time to go through security and get to your terminal, we recommend booking returning flights no earlier than 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 13. Students taking the return shuttle to JFK will be contacted with the specific time and location for departure from Marist. 
     
  • Session II Shuttles: The shuttle will leave the airport Saturday, July 13 by 4 p.m. and will return students to the airport on Saturday, July 27. In order to allocate enough time to go through security and get to your terminal, we recommend booking returning flights no earlier than 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 27. Students taking the return shuttle to JFK will be contacted with the specific time and location for departure from Marist.
 


Number 6

 

WHAT TO EXPECT ON DAY 1 

Check-in will take place the morning of June 30 for Session I and July 14 for Session II. You and your family will move-in,  receive your campus ID and take care of other important items before saying goodbye to your family. A detailed schedule is available via the blue buttons.

With the exception of students arriving on the Marist shuttle, all students must be accompanied by a legal parent/guardian when they check-in.

FINAL GRADES AND TRANSCRIPTS

We hope you enjoyed your pre-college experience at Marist! Your final grade will be available on the following dates:

  • Session I – July 23
  • Session II – August 8 
  • Virtual – August 8
