Not only has the number of attendees grown, but so has the geographic diversity of who’s attracted to Marist. Students traveled from California, Arizona, Texas, and Oklahoma to attend one of the sessions, with attendees coming from 34 states in all.

Financial Guidance: Students heard from and spoke with experienced Student Financial Services counselors who provided valuable financial information about pursuing a Marist education, including the many scholarship opportunities available.
Academic Information Sessions: Students mingled with faculty and students from our academic programs to help them make informed choices about their academic paths. Marist has 90+ majors, minors, and concentrations.
Student Life Insights: Attendees participated in student life panels that allowed them to interact with current students and gain a first-hand perspective on what it's like to be part of the Red Fox Family, including speaking with representatives from student services offices.
Career Planning: The Center for Career Services staff shared their commitment to helping students find their career paths and secure jobs and internships, as well as the College’s dedication to fostering professional growth alongside academic development.
Global Opportunities: Prospective students learned about Marist’s nationally acclaimed study abroad opportunities, reflecting the College's global perspective and commitment to preparing students for success in an interconnected world.
Kent Rinehart, Dean of Undergraduate Admission, expressed his enthusiasm about the record-breaking turnout this season, saying, "We're thrilled to see a strong growing interest in Marist, not only from the northeast but from across the country and around the world. We are incredibly grateful for Marist faculty, staff, and students who help share the amazing transformative opportunities of the Marist experience."
Prospective students can now take a more serious look at joining the Red Fox Family as they embark on an exciting college journey.
“I remember attending Marist’s Open House when I was a prospective student, and thinking how inviting everyone on campus was,” said Addison Grobard ’26, business administration major and admissions student ambassador. “From the welcome presentation to the student life panel, I was truly in awe of the dedication put into the different activities throughout the day. Fast-forward to me helping out at Open Houses as a Red Fox, and my thoughts are still the same. Being at successful Open House events is a rewarding experience not just for the families visiting, but also for me.”
