The Power of
And
Students get to choose and, not or, when it comes to their education at Marist. They can easily combine majors, minors, and concentrations to fit their passions through a distinct blend of liberal arts and professional education.
Our faculty are teachers, scholars, artists, and practitioners. They are mentors and advisors. In addition to classroom instruction, they help students connect to research opportunities, internships, and other experiences to think about the world in new ways. This distinct blend develops our students into skilled leaders and professionals who are prepared for the ever-changing workplace upon graduation.
Limitless Opportunities for Learning and Collaboration
Expand your perspective
Marist students can mix and match their coursework in all six schools at the College, regardless of their major. Students can combine programs of study and other experiences with flexibility to match their personal passions. We want you to create your own unique Marist experience!

Centers Offer Unique, Personalized Experiences
Learning extends far beyond the classroom. Marist provides access to several unique, high-profile Centers for research and engagement, along with industry partnerships that allow students to apply what they learn in the classroom in the real world. Participation in these programs will develop the skills and flexibility needed for an evolving job market and help graduates stand out.
Faculty-mentored research experiences enhance your resume
Marist faculty regularly bring students into research projects, and help students pursue individual research interests. Research can be presented at local, regional, national or international conferences, as well as on campus at our Celebration of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity. Many students who have completed research projects have gone on to prestigious post-graduate scholarship and fellowship opportunities.
Did you know? Marist is regularly recognized as a top producer of Fulbright scholars. We challenge students to step outside their comfort zone and grow.
