April 5, 2018 — A free workshop on procuring grants for humanities scholarship, programs, and research will be held at Marist College on Friday, April 20, 1:30pm, in the Hancock Center, room 2023. This event is free and open to the public.

The workshop will be conducted by staff from the National Endowment for the Humanities, who will explain grant programs available and give expert tips for crafting strong proposals. Local NEH grant recipients will also be on hand to share their experiences.

“This is a great opportunity for nonprofit organizations such as libraries, museums, tribal entities, and cultural groups to learn about NEH’s priorities and processes,” said Jonea Gurwitt, Director of Foundation and Government Grants at Marist.
