Marist Featured in The Princeton Review’s “Best 385 Colleges” Guide for 2020
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—Marist College has once again been selected for inclusion in The Princeton Review’s guide, The Best 385 Colleges. Marist was ranked 12th in the Study Abroad category.
“We’re very pleased to be highlighted in this way,” said Sean Kaylor, Vice President for Enrollment, Marketing and Communication. “Study abroad opportunities are a key component of a Marist education because the College wants to help its students become global citizens. We’ve consistently been ranked as a top school nationally for long-term study abroad in the U.S. State Department’s Open Doors Report. Our campus in Florence, Italy and our Freshman Dublin Experience offer additional opportunities for our students to expand their horizons internationally.”
According to The Princeton Review, only about 13% of America’s 3,000 four-year colleges are profiled in the book. The company chooses the colleges for the book based on data it collects annually from administrators at hundreds of colleges about their institutions’ academic offerings. The Princeton Review also considers data it gathers from its surveys of college students who rate and report on various aspects of their campus and community experiences for this project.
Published annually since 1992, the book has detailed profiles of the colleges and rating scores in eight categories, as well as ranking lists of top 20 schools in 62 categories.
